The MONSTER

No monster looks like this but its result does.

One common thing between the monster and the shaitan is that both look beautiful. However, their intentions are more dangerous than you can imagine. Which monster am I talking about, and why am I talking about it? The monster you hold in your hand is eating you, your life, your friends, your love, and your precious time.

Yes, the smartphone — The Monster. If you think the same, you are aware, but not (Ewww). Let me make you aware.

Problem

Do you look for a phone instead of a toothbrush in the morning and look for a phone instead of a pillow before sleeping?

Do you need social apps for showing your love to your loved ones?

Do you need this monster for passing the time?

Do you unlock the phone for urgent stuff but unconsciously you open a useless and time-consuming app?

Browsing YouTube or Instagram for knowledge and ending up browsing shorts and reels. If you are saying no I watch only useful content. On exiting the app how much do you remember? Or ask yourself what you have learned.

Solution

You can pass the time by reading books and articles rather than using the monster. Because one notification will disturb you, and one notification will distract you.

You should show love only to those who matter to you, and not to everyone. Your relationships have nothing to do with others.

To be entertained, watch 1–2 hours of videos. No shorts and no full series (you know what I mean).

Do you need information or extra knowledge? Get it from books. Seek it from a mentor or from a device that doesn’t bother you with notifications

If your business is online, stick with apps that are profitable. Not with apps that take money and time.

Additionally, go to your settings and search for screen time and check how many hours a day you are using your mobile on a working day. If your business is not online, and your screen time is greater than 4 hours. Congratulations, Mate! You are the favorite and healthy snack of the monster.

Conclusion

(1) Are you using the phone or (2) is the phone the monster using you? If the second answer is yes. Then it’s time to fight back my friend. Save yourself, save your life, save your relationships, save your time.

Remember to use the phone for your benefit and not let it consume you.

Use smart things to be smart, not a fool.
